Vision, courage, persistence and leadership are all totally key to success, without clear direction and leadership to drive relentlessly towards that end goal you will not succeed.
I would also suggest considering a couple more:
Ambition – unless the the change is ambitious enough it will be difficult to motivate the people to change. the last thing you want is people saying “so what”!!
Urgency – when ambition is complemented by urgency, you can create the vision of the burning platform that helps people let go of the past and start to seriously consider your vision for the future.
Resonates with employees – for people to embrace the new vision, it needs to resonate with them. If you can do that then you will find reduced resistance and have a greater chance of success.
