Digital Transformation (#DX) – What is it? (presentation for ACOA)

I was honored to be asked by ACOA (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency) to present to all of their frontline workers recently (140+ staff).

The core of the presentation centres around two things:

  • Digital is about Business, not about IT – technology underpins and enables, but digital is about far more than that.
  • The Customer is the core of Digital – Digital starts and ends with the customer, what they need and how you can help them.

The critical questions that need to be asked are: How can you become more customer focused? And how can your internal processes become more connected and seamless in order to provide the right service to the customer.

The interconnected nature from customer to operations and back to the customer, with data at its core, is key to the future of business. This then allows you to review how you adapt your value proposition through either digital additions to existing products, or through new digital ones.

The full pdf of the presentation can be found here.
